An Introduction
Our story begins in 2020, a year most people wrote off – but a year we, as a young crew of well-educated Saudis, decided to change the future of finance. With our engineering and financial backgrounds in tow, and our global experience across Saudi Arabia, Japan, the USA, UK, and UAE, we decided to create a venture builder and disruptive financial technology company. In the wake of our first virtual kickoff meeting during COVID-19 quarantine, Bakfintech today substitutes traditional financial products with disruptive Fintech solutions.

Bakfintech is relentless in pursuit of excellence. Currently, our flagship spin-off, enmu, is under development; an innovative platform aiming to obtain the approval of the Saudi Central Bank. This platform is expected to deploy soon, and we are eager to see it launch and show our competitors what we can do.

Beshr Bakheet

As Bakfintech’s teacher and esteemed “Sensei”, Beshr is no stranger to innovation. With regular appearances on Arab and international broadcasting media, and with frequent quotings regarding market and economic climates, Beshr is a force to be reckoned with in the arenas of financial analytics, forecasting, and the capital markets. His journey began when he left the USA with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, matched only by his master’s in engineering obtained from Japan’s Keio University. Over the past 35+ years of his career, Beshr has given hundreds of speeches at conferences on a regional, national, and global level, speaking mostly on issues related to Arab Capital Market development. Today, Beshr is a Board Member and the Funds Chairman at Osool & Bakheet Investment Company. He has also served as a BOD member for the Tadawul Stock Exchange and AlAhli Takaful, and has held many senior positions with global investment banks the likes of Hoare Govett, UBS, and the Credit Suisse Group.

Talal is the visionary CEO of Bakfintech, skillfully applying his expertise in banking to mitigate threats, steer the company through challenging waters, and ensure its continued success. Talal honed his skills in treasury and investment during his tenure with major industry players such as Riyad Bank and Saudi Investment Bank. He graduated with a BSc in Finance and Management from the American University of Sharjah and an MBA in Finance (with first honors) from AlFaisal University. Talal's exceptional skills are further complemented by his professional certificates, including the Capital Market Authority Exams (CME-1, CME-2, and CME-5) and the Retail Banking Foundation Professional Exam, SAMA.
Faisal Abu Sulaiman

Faisal is a skilled quantitative analyst and member of the Saudi Council of Engineers, respected for his ability to convert complex mathematical codes into practical applications whilst having worked at Morgan Tucker and Atkins. With a B.Eng. (Honors) in Civil Engineering with Sustainability from Brunel University and an MSc in Project Management, Finance, and Risk Analysis from City University of London, Faisal's exceptional qualifications are complemented by professional certifications, including the Capital Market Exams (CME 1, CME 2 and CME 5) and PRINCE2 Project Management. Despite not having traveled to space, Faisal's practical approach and commitment to excellence make him a valuable member of the team.
Omar Abu Sulaiman

Tech Wizard
Omar is the name we trust with all things technology. Our in-house “Tech Wizard” ensures every product we create and launch is impossible to compete with. It all started when Omar graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University, after which he took on the role of Project Manager in Portland, OR. Upon his return to Saudi Arabia just in time for the COVID-19 quarantine period, Omar spent his lockdown investigating and preparing for his future career, studying and completing his Capital Market Exams (CME-1 and CME-2). With months of late nights behind him, Omar shifted his focus to the development of the Fintech arena – his biggest and most exciting challenge to date.

Ahmed, the accomplished Operations Maestro at Bakfintech, leverages his engineering to drive strategic endeavors for the company. With vision and passion, he founded AK Solar, an engineering firm focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy, generating a significant impact in the industry.
Graduating with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah. He demonstrates a commitment to professional development through certifications including International Introduction to Securities and Investment (CME-1), Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (CME-2), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), and Certified Energy Manager (CEM). As a respected member of the Saudi Council of Engineers and Associated Energy Engineers.
